Factoid by way of Doug Henwood
In the last three months of 2003, Canada created 173,000 new jobs;
the U.S., with a workforce eight times as large, created just
144,000. If we had done as well as our northern neighbor last month,
we'd have added 443,000 jobs (instead of 1,000).
